In this teaching material we will discuss about descriptive text. The descriptive text
contains a description of a particular object, place or event so that the reader can feel, see,
smell and hear it. Description text is often referred to as descriptive response text.
Identification is the determination of the identity of either a person, thing or other object. This
teaching material will discuss the meaning, types, elements, and also examples of descriptive
text.

2. Relevance
This teaching material contains material about the descriptive text. All information that is
important or needed to students especially junior high school. After studying this e-book,
students are expected to be able to understand how to make and apply the descriptive text.
