CONFERENCE THEME: “PUTTING THE PIECES TOGETHER: SISTERHOOD, EDUCATION, & CULTURAL RELEVANCY”
Summary of Activities Initiated between July 2019- June 30, 2020
An Eastern Region Welcome Packet was provided to Basilei during the summer (2019)
that included information to help Sorors to plan for the year. Documents included:
Effective Leadership Training Schedule, Retreat Template, Committee Proposal Template,
Sample Planning Calendar, Sample Agenda, Cluster Meeting Templates (Invitation,
Agenda, Interest Agenda)
Monthly Message
Each month, a prepared monthly message to inspire Sorors and reminders of upcoming due
dates.
Administrative Chairs
A memo was sent in September to our Y.E.S. and Administrative Program Chairs detailing
their duties and responsibilities. These Chairs in turn communicated with chapter chairs
by emailing an introductory letter and offering suggestions to implement programs. Some
Chairs instituted monthly Zoom meetings to discuss progress
towards implementing programs.
Monthly Zoom Meetings
We continue our monthly Zoom Meetings starting the first week of August to communicate
updates and discuss chapter concerns.
Monthly Zoom Conference Meeting schedule:
ER Officers First Monday of each Month 8:00 pm
Basilei First Wednesday of each Month 8:00 pm
Cluster Meetings
Attended Cluster Meetings (see schedule below).
