2.11 Accident and First Aid
XYZ Corporation believes that the best practice in case of an accident, is to ensure staff
have access to a trained First Aider or someone who can take charge in the event of an
accident.
Details of these trained staff will be displayed from your line manager and you should
familiarize yourself with names and contact details.
An Accident Book is also available from your line manager and it is the responsibility of
everyone to report and record any accident involving personal injury.
Employees who are absent from work following an accident must complete a self-
certification form, which clearly states the nature and cause of the injury.
