IMAGINE! Holding a Baby Gator and taking your
picture with them is a memory you definitely want to
take advantage of, and it is a free attraction! Our New
Gator Chateau features baby gators rescued from the
wild and rehabilitated in Jennings, Louisiana
(exit 64).
Jeff Davis Parish is located on the I-10 Corridor
between Houston, TX and New Orleans, Louisiana.
You can also take a crawfish farm tour with a local
farmer at an actual working crawfish farm, visit a
country museum featuring a large collection of
Coushatta Pine Straw baskets, music jams, fishing,
hunting and dine at a seafood restaurant in Lake
Arthur. We are also home to Bayou Rum; a local
distillery using local Louisiana ingredients that offers
tours and tastings in Lacassine (exit 48). We are home
to the Seafood Sensation Culinary Trail featuring
restaurants in Jennings, Lake Arthur, and Welsh.
