VERMILION PARISH
Sure, Vermilion Parish is known for our Cajun cuisine
and fresh seafood, but there’s more here to experience.
The communities of Delcambre, Erath, Abbeville,
Kaplan and Gueydan are linked by the Cajun Corridor
that crosses the parish to reveal quaint towns, tree
lined bayous, museums and more. A trip to the southern
part of our parish will take you to farms, marshes,
some of the best birding in America, alligators and
other wildlife. And when it’s time to have fun, we
know how to throw a party with great music, dancing
and plenty of Cajun food. Come see for yourself!
