LIVINGSTON PARISH

With over 500 water way miles and over 67,000 acres of

natural beauty, nature’s own playground provides fishing,
hunting, boating, canoeing, tubing, and much more.
Tickfaw State Park, covering 1200 acres along three

miles of the Tickfaw River, gives nature lovers a glimpse
of the bayous and swamps of southeast Louisiana and

is part of the Gulf Coast Birding Trail. Camping facilities
and cabins are available, but some may prefer the
conveniences of KOA, Lakeside RV Park, or some of our

beautiful hotels located just off I-12 in Livingston
     Parish.

Numerous events take place on our waterways each
year: The Tickfaw 200 Power Boat Poker Run is held the
first weekend of May and boasts more than 300 boats,

some valued at $1 million, competing in this annual
     first-class charity event.

For landlubbers the perfect day in Livingston Parish
might include a shop til you drop experience at one of

the top five Bass Pro shops in the U.S. or in Juban
Crossing, a multi-use development with some of the

nation’s biggest and best retailers. You may also enjoy
a stroll through Louisiana’s #1 Antique District in
Denham Springs where original art and hard to find

     collectibles are the norm.

So whether you are looking for a place to visit or just

passing through go ahead and make Livingston Parish
     your next stop.
