CRAWFISH FARM TOUR
Learn everything about Louisiana’s favorite food! A true ‘Farm to Market’ tour! Crawfish field tours in Jeff Davis Parish run seasonally from
March-May, the crawfish harvest season. Participants will experience the habitat, harvest, calculation and distribution of crawfish. Tours take
place pondside at a working crawfish farm, then continue on to I-10 Crawfish Co-Op Exchange. Booked through and operated by the Jeff
Davis Parish Tourist Commission. Group tours can even have a private crawfish boil arranged after the tour, if desired. Reservations required.
BAYOU RUM DISTILLERY
Jeff Davis Parish is home to Bayou Rum Distillery, a state-of-the-art distillery in Lacassine, LA. Free tours are offered to see firsthand how Bayou
Rum is pasteurized, fermented, distilled, aged in their barrel storage, bottled up and served at their in-house tasting bar. Also houses a gift
