A 181-mile drive through western Louisiana based
on tall tales, true stories, and legends. 22 kiosks
along the way relate these fabled myths and true sagas.

alive. In Vernon Parish, visitors can tour the Burr’s
Ferry Civil War Breastworks, Wolf Rock Cave, and
the Grave Houses of Talbert-Pierson Cemetery, as
well as visit the Museum of the New Llano Colony,
and enjoy the music, arts, and activities of MayFest,
the annual Arts & Craft s Festival held in downtown
Leesville the fi rst full weekend each May.

as Anaoco Lake, Toledo Bend Lake, Vernon Lake,
Sabine River, and Toro Bayou, Vernon Parish
provides ample opportunities for boating, tubing,
