The canister containing the activated charcoal is vented to atmosphere via a filter. The activated charcoal is
purged, and fuel vapor build-up prevented, by a connection from the canister to the constant depression area of
the carburetor. As fuel is used, air is drawn into the fuel tank via the activated charcoal filter and piping circuit.
