h. Manufacture and Supply of Face Masks:

 During the lockdown period, there was a lot of shortage
for face msaks in the market. As such shed staff along
with their family members produced around 3000 face
masks.
 Each of the shed satff have been provided with two
facemasks and the rest were supplied to division and
HQs.

i. Manufacture and Supply of Disinfectant (Sodium Hypochlorite):

 Diesel Loco Shed Moulali is preparing sodium
hypochlorite solution and spraying all of shed premises
for disinfection.
 All locos and DEMUs cabs are being disinfected by
use of recommended chemicals before cranking each
day
 Shed has also issued about 2580 lts of concentrated
disinfectant to HQs and divisional units.

j. Provided assistance to ADRM/O/HYB in innovating “RailBot”:

Shed supervisor and staff assisted Sri Hem Singh Banoth, ADRM/O/HYB who
developed “Railbot”. This bot is presently being utilized in the COVID ward of
CH/LGDs.

k. Disinfection of Locos and DEMUs

 Ensuring disinfection of coaches, DPCs and locos with recommended disinfection
as per prescribed frequency.
 Covid Care Posters in Hindi, English and Telugu pasted at each doorway of DEMU
coaches homed at DLS/MLY as advised.
 Sanitization of coaches and locos including shed premises being ensured with
Sodium Hypochlorite as advised.
