ix. Inauguration of the Indigenously developed Exploded views of
equipment: PCEE/SCR inaugurated the Indigenously developed exploded
views of Traction motor BHEL 4907, ECC and eddy current clutch assembly
and Auxiliary/Excitor generator models by Sri Ramesh, SSE and his team.

x. Inauguration of Indigenously developed LCC & PT Pump test Bench:
PCME/SCR inaugurated the Indigenously developed LCC and PT Pump test
Bench during his inspection of DLS/MLY on 08-09-2021. This test bench was
designed and developed in-house by Sri GSN Murthy, SSE, Sri TVS Rao, SSE
and Sri Thapan Kumar, SSE and their team which will be utilized for testing the
of LCC and PT pump assemblies on and simulate load conditions before
providing on DEMUs

xi. Provision of standby FPMs in locos with M/s Signotron make FPM:

The M/s Paragon make fuel pump motors are failure prone as compared to
M/s Signotoron make FPMs. As such shed has provided a standby FPM with a
changeover switch which when operated will bring the standby FPM into use
whenever the main FPM fails. This will improve the reliability of locos fitted with
M/s Paragon make FPMs.
