c) Provision of Work Platforms on DEMU Power Cars:

Work Platform

Staff find difficult to attend DEMU Power Car Windshield, Head Light, Head Code
and Flasher Light during schedules and LPs also facing much difficulty for
cleaning of Windshield activity as they are not easily reachable. As such Shed
has designed and provided a Work Platform to the front end of DEMU DPCs to
enable staff and LPs to stand and reach these items.

d) Provision of safety guard for windshield for DEMU Power Cars:

For the safety of crew installed safety guard for DEMU power car windshields for
safeguarding the crew from stone pelting.
