FACING ADVERSITY Caused by Covid-19 Pandemic, Systemic Racism, Blacks Murdered by Police:

When facing adversity no matter what the situation is, I know I have to reach deep and find enough cour-
age to get through what I am going through. It is sometimes hard for people to find strength through those
times, but for me, I try to always get through any circumstance.

KEEPING YOU FAITH In God to Overcome the Adversities You Will Surely Face:

I make it my mission to make my dad happy with whatever I do. After he passed when I was 6 years old, I
have been doing anything that I can to make him happy.

STAYING COMMITTED TO ACHIEVEMENT Academic Success, Individual Development, and Spiritual
Growth:
Because I know what I want in life, I will not let any major or minor distraction throw me off my path of be-
coming what I want to be. If that is achieving to be the best player on the soccer field or the brightest stu-
dent in my college seminar, I won’t let anything distract me.
