In this all around troubling time I have tried to be very reflective to keep my personal peace. Having
mild to severe asthma, puts me in a concerning position regarding COVID-19 and has forced me to be
overly cautious and not necessarily follow the antics of those my age. In regards to systemic racism, I
have been having a lot of discussion with individuals of different races in and outside of work. I believe
the best was to effect change is with genuine positive interaction.
KEEPING YOUR FAITH In God to Overcome the Adversities You Will Surely Face:
Through every hardship and moment of uncertainty God has been there for me. I often write in my
prayer journal prayers giving thanks and asking for clarity in many aspects of life. I definitely think that
writing out my prayers in the journal proved to be very therapeutic and allowed me to continuously
reflect throughout the year.
