Carrousels of Oakland
HEADDRESS WORKSHOP
The Oakland Carrousels enjoyed their first
in-person meeting in June at The Headdress
Workshop. It was a wonderful way to get
reacquainted in person. After our meeting,
everyone got their creative juices flowing
and created beautiful one-of-a-kind custom
headdresses complete with faux flowers,
rhinestones, beads, tulle, butterflies and other
gorgeousness.
MISTLETOE MAGIC
Our Annual Holiday Party was another
smashing success with fun being had by both
Carrousels and Carrafellas. Sometimes, just
seeing each other is enough to have a fun
time. We were fortunate to spend time in
fellowship, singing Christmas carols, laughing
with the white elephant gift exchange,
indulging in some tasty libations and of
course kissing under the mistletoe!
