Carrousel Sheila and Carrousel Veronica Glaze at The
Gaylord Texan Resort (December)
Speaking of family time during the holidays, Carrousel Sheila and her
daughter, Carrousel Veronica Glaze (Los Angeles) spent some quality
time together during the 2022 Christmas snowstorm. They visited
The Gaylord Texan Resort and became dizzy riding a gold gilded
carrousel! They were both appropriately attired in gold as well. How
fabulous is that?!

We gathered once again in January 2023. Carrousel Mildred kicked off the new year
in high gear with a delightful meeting filled with tight hugs, smiles, laughter, great

food, and lovely gifts. Spirits were high and many pictures were taken as we had not
been together since July. Maggiano’s was the perfect setting for our Carrousel family.
Lots of delicious food was consumed followed by a wine toast to our continued friendship and health.
Each member received a custom designed gold and white necklace. After the meeting Carrousel Cheryl

held a drawing for an embossed Carrousel jacket and a large decorative Christmas Carrousel. Carrousel
Tonya won the jacket and Carrousel Carolyn, who already owns over thirty carrousels, won the carrousel.
Carrousels stayed and chatted until our restaurant reservation expired. Because we were enjoying the
gathering and so happy to be together again, we did not want to leave. It was a perfect way to begin the
