Hittin' The Casino

In April, we all hit the Jackpot when we gathered at the Winstar Resort Hotel and Casino in Oklahoma for our
monthly meeting. Our host, Carrousel Tonya, consistently dealt us a winning hand with gifts, games, and

great food. Carrafellas joined us and participated in all activities. Several games of Carrousel Bingo were
played, and prizes were awarded to winners. Memorable keepsakes were given to all, including a delicious,
decorative Carrousel cookie. Once again, Carrousel Carolyn created our fabulous Carrousel T-shirts for our
April meeting. We really appreciate the amount of creative ability, love, and time Carrousel Carolyn puts in
every shirt. This was indeed a fun-filled day. There were no losers! We all felt like winners by just attending

this fabulous gathering. Of course, later, most of us went to the casino to try and continue our winning
streak.

getting together again in September!

In May, Carrousel Sheila has big plans for an exciting and “creative” end of the year activity. She will be
channeling our artistic skills. We will each paint a Carrousel horse on canvas for our personal galleries…or
a museum or an auction commanding a hefty sale price! Who knows? A budding artist may emerge from
our group. We will all know in May. A fun time is guaranteed. It is always enjoyable any time we get together

with wine and tasty morsels. Sounds like a wonderful way to end the year and kick off our summer.
