Forever a Trooper: The Loss of David Green
We were all saddened by the tragic loss of Retired Trooper David Green. Even in retirement, Trooper Green never
stopped trying to save lives. Ultimately, he was murdered trying to protect the public and save innocent lives. His
sacrifice and heroism will not be forgotten. Not only was he was a good man, a trooper, a brother, and a hero,
he was a man who, even in retirement, never stopped being a Trooper. We fondly remember Tpr. Green for his
unassuming ways and friendship. Our State Police family stands at the ready to help his family, friends and co-
workers during this tragic time.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
