Major Initiatives
This is a summary of the City’s Major Initiatives, a full detailed list of Major Initiatives and department
accomplishments are available in the ACFR.
Upgrades to Woodbridge Park
The Parks Division renovated and made various upgrades to Woodbridge Park. Upgrades
included a new playground, replaced the equipment storage facility, completed ADA access,
and updated the picnic shelter.
Major Business Development Highlights
In 2024, Post Falls saw the addition of 382 new housing units, including
328 single-family homes and 54 multi-family units. Commercial
development remained active with notable site plan approvals such as
7-Eleven
Grocery Outlet
Freddy’s Frozen Custard
Houston Hot Chicken
Millworx mixed-use development—featuring the newly opened
Kndred and Company bookstore and a Hyatt hotel under
construction.
While residential growth is expected to remain steady in 2025,
commercial and industrial development is anticipated to stay strong,
building on the momentum of prior residential expansion.
