Major Initiatives

The City of Post Falls continues to invest in infrastructure, safety, and growth. In recent years, numerous projects have
improved connectivity, enhanced services, and supported community development. Below is a snapshot of major

Snow Operations Expansion –
2024

To enhance winter service and reduce driveway
berms, the City doubled the size of its snow-gate
equipped loader fleet in 2024. Snow-gates have
proven to be an effective tool in our commitment
to keeping roads clear while minimizing resident
disruption.

In a creative collaboration with local youth, the
City also partnered with four elementary schools
to feature student artwork on four of our snow
plows, bringing a touch of community pride and
color to the streets during the winter months.
