Then - I heard a voice.  It was the sweetest sounding voice I have ever

            heard!  "Where is that howling coming from" it said.  "It's the saddest sound I
            have heard in a very long time."  I stopped howling for a second and cocked my

            head to the side to listen more attentively.  "Do you think it came out of that
            bin over there?"  Surely not, how would a dog get in there?"  I barked

            excitedly and as loudly as I could to let that beautiful voice know where I
            was.  "It did come from in there" the voice said.  "Help me get the lid up and
            does anyone have a torch?  Actually, there's one in my car.  I'll just go and get

            it."


            I started jumping around in my
            excitement - "wuff wuff - wuff,

            wuff wuff" I barked.  My coke
            cup hat fell over one eye.  The

            lid of the bin opened a little
            and I could see a sliver of light
            coming in the crack.


            Uncle Kentucky paused for

            dramatic effect and all the
            dogs leaned in closer.  Bonsai

            sneezed.  He often did this
            when things got really

            intense.  BJ scratched his ear
            with his hind paw - as he often
            did when he got worried or

            anxious about things!


            I saw some eyes peering into
            the bin so I jumped up and

            down and wuff wuffed as loud
            as I could.  "I think there is a puppy in there" said the eyes and the sweet
