I.变换句式

1.被动句

⚫ 主动句：We believe this new technology will be adopted in the future.

被动句：This new technology is believed to be adopted in the future.

我们相信这项新技术将来会被采用。

⚫ 主动句：We expect the project to be completed by the end of this year.

被动句：The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

该项目预计将于今年年底完工。

⚫ 主动句：Later, someone found the stolen car abandoned in a parking lot.

被动句：Later the stolen car was found abandoned in a parking lot.

后来发现被偷的车被遗弃在一个停车场里。

2.倒装句

⚫ 非倒装：When you are in trouble, you realize who your true friends are.

倒装句：Only when you are in trouble do you realize who your true friends are.

当你处于困境时，你会意识到谁是你真正的朋友。

⚫ 非倒装：I did not go to bed until my brother returned home.

倒装句：Not until my brother returned home did I go to bed.

直到我哥哥回家我才上床睡觉。

⚫ 非倒装：The bird flew away, never to return.

倒装句：Away flew the bird, never to return.

鸟儿飞走了，再也没有回来。

⚫ 非倒装：I have never met such a kind-hearted person.

倒装句：Never have I met such a kind-hearted person.

我从来没有遇到过这么善良的人。

⚫ 非倒装：Our beloved parents sat on the stage, watching us proudly.
