Throughout the day the gates towards
the garden are always open. Holes in the

wall entice curiosity and keep the park
visible also when it is closed. Plant bo-
xes prevent cars from parking in front
of the entrance, and function as inviting
element towards the park.
The building counts four floors. In order
to provide for a mix of households, a va-
riety of room types is integrated: from
dormitories and rooms with shared sa-
nitary to family studios with private sa-

nitary facilities. In some studios a basic
kitchen is installed, others can make use
of common kitchens throughout the buil-
ding. The interior of common rooms can
be designed as co-working spaces or a
place to meet others while having a cup
of tea or coffee.
