GLOSARIUM



                    Descriptive text: the type of text that is widely used in everyday life in

                    describing objects, places, people, animals, and so on.




                    Language  Features:  any  characteristic  used  to  classify  a  phoneme  or

                    word.  These  are  often  binary  or  unary  conditions  which  act  as

                    constraints in various forms of linguistic analysis.




                    Describing:  give  an  account  in  words  of  (someone  or  something),

                    including all the relevant characteristics, qualities, or events.




                    Waterfall: an area in a stream or river where running water falls down

                    from a high place.




                    Characteristics:  a  feature  or  quality  belonging  typically  to  a  person,

                    place, or thing and serving to identify it.
