Sample Timetable

Home Learning

The biggest change for our new Year 7 students is the longer day and subject specific

teaching, learning and evaluation. They will have homework set per subject and it will be
given throughout the week. Consistent revision will be expected to ensure students are up to
date with curriculum content. Class tests will be given regularly to ensure continuous

evaluation of learning and student progression.

T Teachers work as a team to ensure that the workload for all the subjects is balanced and
delivered in a way to support students. Many of the tasks are started in class and completed
at home. Learning support helps where students need further instruction.

Task setting is regulated and students will be guided through induction to timetable their
work in a balanced way.
