Becoming a Cambridge

We have become a Cambridge School and this partnership with these prestigious
assessment boards allows our students to have a solid foundation for their further

education. The Cambridge and EdExcel curriculum have been developed over decades,

supported by experience, knowledge, curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. Our school
has shaped the Cambridge and EdExcel curriculum around how we want our students to
learn, helping them discover new abilities and bring awareness to the wider world.

           The
The Cambridge and EdExcel framework provides well balanced curricula for the
key subjects and supports our provision of the National Curriculum for
           England.

This broad based curriculum provided our students with ample opportunities
for the future in University and in the workplace.

                             The International General

                  Certificate of Secondary Education

                                             (IGCSE) - KS4

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education ( IGCSE ) is an English
language based external examination similar to GCSE and is acknowledged in the
United Kingdom as being equivalent to the GCSE for the purposes of recognising
student attainment. It was developed by the University of Cambridge International

Examinations. These exams will be the first international certified exams our students
                 will take.

Key Stage 3 Secondary is an important period of transition for our students as they go from
KS2 Primary to KS4 Upper Secondary. They develop the skills and knowledge that will enable
them to make confident choices for their future.

The broad subject base provided in KS3 gives students important insight into their strengths
and areas of interest. This affords them the opportunity to step into Key Stage 4 (KS4)
knowing which direction they wish to take academically and which subjects they wish to
           specialise in.
