CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES AND STRATEGIES

Teachers will create and use a variety of high yield strategies and visual graphic organisers: such
as Mathematics word wall, calendar, IWB programs-Chart, Anchor Chart to model concepts, number

and shape cards, calendar and activities to address the differing learning strengths and ESL needs for

children who are non-native English learners. Teachers in FS1 and FS2 will use calendar weekly to

build number concepts. Teachers will receive the detailed EPG Mathematics Curriculum that includes:

- Essential Question - WALT
- Curricular expectations

- IWB and other digital resources

- Suggested Centers

- Opportunities for Assessment
