Coordinator. With respect to pedigree, there are still some stallions not being DNA tested. Registrations were 449 in 2014. Transfers 369 completed, 109 pending total 478. The Percheron Broadcaster is a go for 2015, Bill asked for help to push for advertising revenue.
Junior report
Erik Davidson reported. He thanked Kim and Susan Davidson for their help this year. 12 shows reported. There were 14 juniors paid. 7 juniors collected points. Erik has asked that anyone interested in taking over the junior program should please let him know.
All Ontario Points Program
Pat Stokes reported. The numbers of horses were up to 28 this year. Of those horses entered 8 did not show. 3 or 4 dropped out. The OPHA needs to review the success of the program and whether to continue.
Provincial show
The provincial show held at the RWF went well in 2014, plans are to do it again. The Royal was happy with the results as well. The 6 horse hitch of mares will be repeated in 2015. The youth cart class was held in the RICOH which was well received. Royal will host an exhibitor party on the Friday night in 2015. Gelding class will be shown on the Percheron line class day. One request to the RWF for change was noted – namely riding class needs time for a warm up
The RWF asked for judges for 2015 – nominated in order were Freeman Yoder, Jim Westbrook and Steve Lewis.
Regional shows Navan - $1,200;
Simcoe - $1,200;
Lindsay - $700.
Other
Essa – $250
judges nominated, in order – Robert Black, Sherry Lewis and Kyle Forsyth tied for 2nd. A letter was read from Mark at Navan, advising that they will be replacing the barn and asking for continued support. The Percheron judge will be judging hitch classes as well in 2015.

Michelle Campbell spoke on behalf of Simcoe.
Glen Smith spoke about a points program in consideration for 3 fairs Rockton/Simcoe/ Ancaster with trophies for the top 3.
No request for judge’s nominations.
Essa fair sent out a letter read by Pat Stokes. The show was held Saturday August 1st and Sunday August 2nd. Essa asked for sponsor support again in 2015.
The 2014 fair went very well, it was a great show for all breed. Hoping to have Gypsy Vanners, Road Horses and Commercials coming in 2015 to show between the draft horse classes. Essa show has a new manager. Show is a go for 2015, same dates. At $700 was collected for parking at the 2014 Essa show, the show organizers are hoping to participate in that money in 2015. Motion – Bob Black to sponsor the same amount as in prior year. 2nd Hedy Edwards. Carried.
Percheron Post
John N. reported having taken over as interim editor from Katie Fleming. Four issues per year are difficult to complete, especially for content. This was discussed with the OPHA Board and a suggestion was made to reduce the Post to 2 issues per year, June and December. The members were asked to vote on having 2 issues per year – 14 yes, none opposed. John is looking for someone to take over as editor, he will still help with the
