Chapter 9
On the Social Media, Website and Media Team
1. NJE and INJE Social Media.
Under God’s grace and blessing the newly-established social media was set up in
Instagram and Facebook under the names of ‘International NJE’ and ‘International
New Jerusalem Evangelism’ (INJE) successively. These media stand hand-in-hand with
the already-existing media of New Jerusalem Evangelism (NJE) in Facebook. The aims
of the purposedly-separated media was mainly due to different motivations,
communities, social environments, cultures of the Christian people who will observe
and spend the time on the media.
INJE Media is mainly directed to all Christian people of all nations especially to
the pastors, evangelists and activists and churches’ members all over the world who
love God and His work. Furthermore this is dedicated especially for all God’s people
who are interested to know, share and witness God’s work in the context of the Great
Commission.
A more technical differentiation between NJE and INJE media is explained
below. The demarcation line is somewhat a rather flexible one and mostly intended
for clarity and suitability to the domestic and overseas observers.
NJE and INJE on Facebook and Instagram.
INJE Facebook and Instagram have been designed and dedicated for the purpose of
sharing and distributing (I)NJE’s experiences in serving God especially in the context of
implementing the Great Commission i.e. domestic and overseas mission trips and
evangelical services.
As previously mentioned INJE consists of all mission trips and evangelical
activities i.e. crusades, Sunday church and, sometimes, familial (home) ministries
abroad i.e. outside of Indonesia (of course when data is available). In addition, some
domestic crusades in the past of special values or with added values were also
included. These were the crusades performed in some unique, isolated and interesting
areas, and also in some soccer fields, city squares, public buildings etc with thousands
of attendants. Such typical crusades may, in one or the other thing, resemble similar
crusades in some countries in Africa, some Asian and Latin-American countries.
On the other side the existing NJE media in Facebook would continue to consist
of the domestic crusades and seminars in churches, trip and journey conditions, cities
(towns) visited and other related activities.
