A.  Introduction
                   1.  Short description
                       In this teaching material, opinions and thoughts will be discussed. We have our own
                       personal opinion or thoughts. When we are discussing or talking about an issue or event,
                       someone may ask for your opinion or thoughts, by saying, "What do you think about
                       about it?". In this chapter we are going to study about how to express or state opinions
                       and  thoughts,  and  how  to  respond  to  them.  Opinion  is  a  view  or  judgment  not
                       necessarily based on facts or knowledge. Thought is an idea or opinion produced by
                       thinking or occurring suddenly in the mind. In responding to an opinion or thought, we
                       can agree or disagree with it. We will also study some expressions of agreement and
                       agree in this chapter.

                   2.  Relevance
                       This  e-book  material  contains  material  about  expressions  of  general  opinions,
                       expressing  personal  opinions,  agreeing  with  an  opinion,  and  disagreeing  with  an
                       opinion. After studying this module students are expected to be able to understand and
                       understand opinions and thoughts. Compose short and simple transactional interaction
                       texts,  spoken  and  written,  involving  the  act  of  giving  and  asking  for  information
                       regarding opinions and thoughts, taking into account social functions, text structure,
                       and linguistic elements that are correct and in context.

                   3.  Study Guide
                       The purpose of learning Teaching Materials is for students to understand expressions
                       of general opinions, expressing personal opinions, agreeing with an opinion, and
                       disagreeing with an opinion. Here are study guides for studying this module:
                       1) Understand each component of teaching materials from the initial component to the
                       end.
                       2) Understand the main and supporting material by reading and interpreting it.
                       3) Reading various other learning resources that are relevant to the material being
                       studied.
                       4) Discuss reading results in discussion forums through online facilities with other
                       participants and instructors.
                       5) Do each assignment independently and formative tests through online facilities.
                       6) Practice the knowledge gained from the learning process into daily learning
                       practices and reflect on it.

                       In the end of the lesson, the students are expected to be able to ask for opinion or
                       thought,  give/share  opinion  or  thought  to  other  people  and  ask  for  other’s
                       agreement/disagreement.
