Many Koreans look forward to celebrating Chuseok. Give a short narrative on how
you spent the festival this year.

Answer A:

I spent a weeklong vacation last week because of Chuseok. I went to my hometown to visit my
family and relatives. It was a special event for me. Last year, I did not go to my hometown for
Chuseok because I was sick. It was a gloomy season. However, this year was much better. Last
week, my mother cooked her specialty to celebrate the holiday. I love eating songpyeon, a very
delicious rice cake. The children also played games, and I gave them prizes. This year, I spent
my Chuseok holiday happily. I will never forget this event.
