Chapter 3 Campus Life
Unit 1: One’s School
I would like to have an idea what it is like studying in Korea. Begin by giving a brief
description of your school.
Answer A:
I study in one of the Korean Universities for women. Most girls in Korea wish to study here. The
institution serves around 20,000 students, with 11 undergraduate and 13 graduate programs. Big
buildings and facilities are used by students and faculty. I am from the College of Engineering.
Our building can be found in the eastern part of the campus. We have large buildings which
house the students of the four departments in my college. The buildings are quite new, and they
are adequate with modern, high-end facilities. I think this is a reason why people consider my
school as prestigious.
