I am an active member of an academic organization in school. Some of the club members are my
classmates in my major subjects. Students who take up Biology or medical courses usually join
this organization. In fact, this is one of the oldest clubs in school. Some of the former members
are school alumni who visit us occasionally. We have them as guest speakers when we hold
forums related to our activities. They would discuss recent breakthroughs in medicine, genetics,
and other topics, which we find very interesting. Being a part of this club is beneficial because it
encourages its members to do more learning outside the confines of classroom teaching. It also
inspires young minds to do more scientific research that would be useful for society.
