Chapter 6 Hobbies and Interests

                   Unit 6: Cooking




          Cooking appetizing dishes is one of the skills people would like to learn. Do you like
          preparing food as well? Share anything about your cooking experience and the food
          you like preparing.




              Answer A:
               I always cook fried food. It’s the easiest type of cooking that I know. All you need is hot oil, the
               main ingredient, and some seasoning. Usually, I fry eggs for breakfast. Since I live alone, I just
               have limited time to cook a simple dish. I only need eggs, oil, salt and pepper. First, I heat oil in
               the pan. Then, I break the eggs into the pan. I stir it a bit to make it fluffy. Sometimes, I add in
               some milk to make it creamy. Then, I take the pan off the heat and season the eggs with salt and
               pepper. I eat the dish with bread or rice. It only takes me a couple of minutes, so I don’t have to
               skip breakfast. Such simple dish helps to save time, yet satisfies the tummy.
