Chapter 3 Campus Life

Unit 2: Directions Going to School

Getting to school on time is important for students. Some students organize their route
and schedule to make sure they arrive early for a class. Briefly describe how you plan
your daily route going to school.

              Answer A:
Going to my school takes me about half an hour or less. From my studio apartment, I take a walk
going to the subway station. It takes me around seven to ten minutes to get there. Although it
gets crowded during rush hours, I still prefer riding the subway train because it saves time. The
trip going to the station nearest to the university lasts for only four to six minutes. Once I get off
the train, I just walk a few blocks until I reach the university’s main entrance. If I am a little early
for my class, I drop by the school’s breakfast nook to have a cup of coffee or tea.
