How to balance an egg on its end with no visible means of sup-
port:

You need just a few grains of salt. Make a tiny pile of salt on a flat
surface and balance the egg on the pile. Then carefully blow away
the excess salt, leaving just the few grains actually supporting
the egg. (Obviously this needs preparing in advance - if pressed
to repeat the trick, place the egg down hard enough to break the
shell, which will also enable it to balance).

1. You are planning to propose to your girlfriend on your 3rd year anniversary so you are looking for a nice
engagement ring. You are negotiating with the sales person about the price of the ring:

2. Your wife has just been promoted as a Senior Marketing Manager therefore you would like to surprise her
with a new car. She deserves something that is extraordinary such as a Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon. After
all, she has been working really hard to reach this position. You are bargaining with the car dealer about the
following:

a. 5% discount
b. free leather-trimmed gearshift

Sample answer:
Could you give me a 5% discount since I’ll be paying in cash? Come on, let’s meet halfway. I’ve been a loyal customer so I hope you could grant
my request. What are the freebies I could get? Could I avail of a leather-trimmed gearshift without any charge?
