A. Another freak car accident happened last night. According to some news reports, the 18-year
old driver was intoxicated.
B. The government must do something about this. I think they should raise the driving age.
A. Apparently, maturity and experience play a vital role in driving. What do you think should the
legal driving age be?
B. I think it should be 20 years old.
A. A 20-year old person has a better judgment than a teenager in handling diffi cult situations.
Moreover, the government should strictly enforce the law against driving under the infl uence
of alcohol.
