resolutions?
A: Time fl ies fast. Look, another year has passed as if it had just begun yesterday.
B: Indeed. That’s why it is necessary to make the most out of life. We have to maximize every op-
portunity we have to make our life productive.
A: I agree. So what are your New Year’s resolutions this year?
B: I have three for this year. First, I’ll quit smoking. Second, I will not work overtime if it isn’t
required. I want to spend more time with my family. Finally, I’ll start a new hobby this year.
I’m planning to enroll in a photography class in summer. How about you?
A: I’ve stopped making New Year’s resolutions two years ago. I just try to improve myself each
year to become a better individual.
B: That’s good.
1. Were you able to fulfill your New Year’s resolutions the past years?
