                  What are your New Year’s



                  resolutions?






                  A:  Time fl ies fast. Look, another year has passed as if it had just begun yesterday.
                  B:  Indeed. That’s why it is necessary to make the most out of life. We have to maximize every op-
                     portunity we have to make our life productive.
                  A:  I agree. So what are your New Year’s resolutions this year?
                  B:  I have three for this year. First, I’ll quit smoking. Second, I will not work overtime if it isn’t
                     required. I want to spend more time with my family. Finally, I’ll start a new hobby this year.
                     I’m planning to enroll in a photography class in summer. How about you?
                  A:  I’ve stopped making New Year’s resolutions two years ago. I just try to improve myself each
                     year to become a better individual.
                  B:  That’s good.











                  1. Were you able to fulfill your New Year’s resolutions the past years?

                    Yes, I was able to fulfill most of my New Year’s resolutions. I am determined to improve myself each year.

                    start. Making New Year resolutions serves as a challenge to become a better individual.

                  3. What are your New Year’s resolutions this year?

                    Sample answer:
                    I just have one New Year’s resolution this year and that is to exercise regularly. It feels great to have a nice body.
