3-digit math trick

Write down any three-digit number, with different first and last
digits. Reverse it. Subtract the smaller number from the larger
one. Write down the answer. Reverse it (including the zero at the
beginning if less than a hundred). Add together both numbers.

Answer first before turning to page 44 for the answer.

1. After placing an order, you realized that you want the other model of the same brand. You are talking to the
manager to request the following:
a. Product: WhirlPool Gold 23.1 Cu. Ft. Counter Depth Side-by-Side
Refrigerator (Previous order); 24.5 Cu. Ft. WhirlPool Gold Side-by-Side Counter Depth Refrigerator (New Unit)

Good afternoon! This is Mr. Kurt Smith. I ordered a WhirlPool Gold 23.1 Cu. Ft. Counter Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator this morning. My wife
wants a bigger refrigerator so I’m wondering if I could cancel it and request for a change of unit. Instead of that, I’d like to order the 24.5 Cu Ft.

2. You received the product in good condition. It is specified that you are entitled to a one year warranty which
includes parts and services. After ten months, the product malfunctioned and you would like to inquire about
the warranty. You are discussing with the customer service representative about the following:

a. Ask for free repair and change of damaged part, if there is any
b. Invite him to play golf on Sunday

Good evening! I’m having trouble with my PC. It wouldn’t turn on. I believe that it is still covered by the warranty since I bought it 10 months
ago. I would just like to know if I am entitled to a free repair and change of damaged parts before I bring it to the service center. I don’t want to
pay for something that should be free of charge.
