A: What’s the term of this contract?
B: Like what is stipulated on the contract, the term of the lease shall be for one year from noon
of the 3rd of March 2008 to noon of the 3rd of March 2009.

A: Alright. What if we’d like to renew our contract?

B: If you intend to renew your contract, you have to notify our offi ce 60 days prior to the expira-
tion of this agreement.

A: Okay. Thank you for explaining it clearly.
B: Do you have any other questions?

A: None. Everything is clear so I am ready to sign the contract.

1. Have you ever entered into a fraudulent contract?

Sample answer:
Luckily, I haven’t entered into a fraudulent contract. I’m very careful when it comes to signing contracts. I always make it a point that I consult
my lawyer before I enter into any agreements.
2. Which do you prefer, a written or verbal contract?

Sample answer:
Of course, I prefer a written contract. There are some who tend to take advantage of other people so everything should be in black and white.

3. Do you consult a lawyer before signing a contract?

Sample answer:
It depends on the situation. If it’s a contract that involves a big sum of money then I normally consult a lawyer. Otherwise, I just
read the contract carefully before I sign it.
