Lesson 17
Unknown Future
It’s easy for parents to project the future of their
children based on physical attributes and
talents that they may possess when they were
little, but it’s really a silly exercise. Though we
think we’ve uncovered the gifts that will assure
our children’s careers as doctors, lawyers,
actresses or athletes; things don’t always turn
out the way we expect them to be. The prettiest little girl may grow up gawky
and awkward. The scrawny little boy can become quite the looker by the time
he’s a teenager. Even personalities can change.
