Kate: Good morning, I would like to have a double cheeseburger with medium diet coke and
potato fries.
Counter: Madam, for your information, you can now pick your own happy meal combination
from those choices with the same price of $1.77.
Kate: All right, I will have a strawberry milk shake together with chicken breast Mc Nuggets with
a toy for take out.
Counter: We have Totally Spies Collection of make-up, lipstick, hairbrush and bags. Which do
you prefer to have?
Kate: Oh, this make-up kit would great for my niece!
Counter: That would be nice; by the way, your bill is $1.77.
Kate: Okay, thanks!
Counter: Here’s your order and enjoy your meal.
Kate: Thanks so much.

1. What are the factors, which you consider in a restaurant or food chain?

Sample answer:
I look for high standard service and cleanliness. I want a place where I can eat well and relax.
Good tasting food and warm service mean a lot for a customer. These are the factors, which
give total customer satisfaction.

2. Do you consider price in choosing a restaurant?
Sample answer:
Price is a key factor in a choosing a restaurant. I want to make sure that I have value for my
money. High price is fine, but it has to be packed with good service and products. I also con-
sider promotional activities, which entice customers to try featured products.

3. Will you ever consider having your own food chain?
Sample answer:
I would want to have my own food chain. I have Krispy Kreme in mind. I personally like their
donuts. It’s better to have my own store. It will take $25,000 to have one. This food store started
for about a year and a half in Seoul. The costing includes baking equipment, doughnut mix and
development fee.
