Kim Mr. Brown, we're going to visit one of our shops. It's in Yongsan
(Electronics) Market.
Brown Oh, Yongsan ... I think I read about it somewhere in a guidebook. It's
the biggest electronics market in Seoul, right?
Kim Yes, it is.
Brown So how far is it from here?
Kim Not that far, about twenty minutes or so.
Brown So, how many ways are there to purchase a cell phone in Korea?
Kim There are phone shops in most neighborhoods. But the number of
people buying them on the Internet or from home shopping channels is
increasing.
Brown I see. And how many companies in Korea provide mobile phone
service?
Kim There are four at the moment.
Brown There are so many different models of cell phones on display. What
types of phones do Korean customers favor?
Kim Mostly, phones with lots of functions. But there are also many who
think that appearance is the most important thing.
Brown I see. I should compliment you on the atmosphere of the shop. It has a
very comfortable feeling.
Kim Thank you. We want our customers to relax and enjoy browsing
through our products.
Brown That helps to boost sales, no doubt.
Kim Yes, it's the reason, I think, that sales at this shop are steadily increasing
by about 10% every month.
