Wildlife Corridors: Connecting the Dots

Now, the elephants can move freely between the two

                                                                                                               v.

                                                                                                                              interact
areas. The two groups of elephants can interact and travel

farther for food and mates. Scientists now record around

1,000 elephant journeys a year. Drivers are no longer in

danger from elephants on the road. People no longer need

to fear elephants coming near their homes. The corridor

has been a huge success for both communities and habitat

           protection.
