       Focus    How were the Everglades and the animals living there affected

                by people’s actions?


                e.g. Because people were using the land, mainly for agriculture,                                                                                     snowy egret

                         the Everglades started to dry up and become smaller. This

                         affected the animals because suddenly, they had less area

                         to live or to find food.
