Carpentry Program Builds Tiny Houses for the Homeless
Carpentry students have been working fast and furious to build the wall structures for
6 of the 18 tiny homes being constructed for Bridgeway Village, which will temporarily
house homeless women in Spartanburg. The women will be able to live in these 2
bedroom, 400 square foot homes for a year to year
and a half while they are provided skills, training, and
support to help them get back on their feet and return
to a self-sustaining lifestyle. Mr. Medford and his stu-
dents have poured much time and energy contributing
to this worthwhile endeavor, and we are very proud of
them for giving back to the community.
