Graphics Students Sharpen Creative Skills in a Variety of Ways
Graphic Communications level II and III students have been busy
working on various projects. Broome High School seniors Carl Jen-
nings and Malachi Sims recently helped print Student of the Month
t-shirts using a 6 color/4 station screen printing press. Spartanburg
High School senior Brian Benitez worked on printing and assem-
bling personalized notepads utilizing an offset printing press, hy-
draulic paper cutter, and padding press for a BHS Unity Council
Meeting with guest speaker and D3 Board Member Deon Logan.
Lastly, Broome High School juniors Claire Braley and Taylor Mosier
used Digital Photoshop Art to create a colorful cubism and a rodeo
mosaic.
DMTC Board Meeting Held in February
The DMTC Board met on February 24,
2021. The following members were in
attendance: Billy Gossett, Chairman
(D3), Eddie Dearybury (D3), Ami Odom
(D3), Meg Clayton (D7), Andy Hayes
(D7), Jeff Mason (D7), Kenny Black-
wood, Superintendent D3, and Jeff Ste-
vens, Superintendent D7. The Board
received updates on enrollment, certi-
fications, completers, and registration
and voted to approve the 2019-2020
Audit.
