conversations around the table with the ladies (all of whom entertain a great deal) instantly discussing what they would do with it. Comments such as “this would be great with cheap Prosecco” or “just ice and lemonade in the summer” etc at the other end of the table the gents who also hunt and shoot commented “this would be a big improvement on Sloe Gin on shoot days”.
They all asked where they could purchase St Maur and was it available in Tesco or Waitrose. This audience interaction is really interesting as it was unprompted and spontaneous
Marketing concept - St Maur - the drink for every occasion
As we touched upon when we last talked I think there is a wonderful opportunity to create some really powerful lifestyle images of the bottle and put it in a number of scenarios that could widen the reach of the brand way beyond the shooting world and position it as a natural choice through out the year.
What I would like to propose is that I set up and shoot a few of the options so that you can see the core idea behind what im proposing and if that sits well with you all and is in line with your existing brand values we can look at rolling it out to the other options I have in mind.
The crux of the idea is that we create a series of lifestyle images showing a bottle of St Maur in a number of locations. These images could then be used by you in the run up to these events through out the year. These used on your social media and potentially any focused advertising would show the brand to be focused, relevant and appropriate to the event in question and would give you some real options in terms of the future marketing of the brand to an widening target market.
By styling and creating an authentic image that looks natural and importantly real we can show St Maur to be a real alternative to the traditional bubbles or G&T that are so often seen as the obvious drink at these occasions.
My target events would be:
Royal Ascot
Wimbledon
Glorious Goodwood The Royal Window Show Cheltenham festival Badminton Horse trials Burleigh
Hickstead
The Boat Race
