Over 270,000 children across South Africa have benefited from our programmes since 1990 and

we’ve developed innovative sports platforms for health and life skills education. Currently our
programmes include: Disney Healthy Happy Play, Calypso Cricket, Street Netball, Street Soccer,
Street Cricket, Table Cricket and our regular coaching clinics across diverse communities.

With Sporting Chance comprising two distinct entities – Sporting Chance Coaching Services and

the Sporting Chance Development Foundation, a registered not-for-profit NPO with PBO status
            – maintaining alignment with our core values while meeting the needs of our participants,
financial partners, and the communities we serve is a delicate balancing act.

Thank you for this incredible honour and award, acknowledging work done outside of the

conventional business sectors. I feel privileged to work in an industry I love and look forward to
continuing to network with like-minded individuals and drive meaningful social change through
            the universal language of sport.

“Poverty and Discrimination are real. Winning this award has inspired me to work even

harder to continue to positively impact the lives of those less fortunate.”

Firstly, I would like to say thank you to my family, my team at Pan Africa Exchange and all the
colleagues that I have built strong working relationships and friendships with over the past
years for believing in me, especially when my dreams and adventures were bigger than all

            of us!

The strategy has always been centred around the “Meeting of Minds” which has provided me
with a powerful and impactful tool that I have used to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
in the corporate world, which in turn has created a circular economy with a multiplier effect

            in communities.
