P. 3

We have two excellent networking events in the next weeks, Spring Drinks on the Eve of the
Easter weekend and the very popular Council of Foreign Chambers of Commerce hosted
Wine and Spirits tasting at Drapers Hall with eight countries showcasing ‘tipples’ from their

country. South Africa is showcasing the MCC, white and red wines of Benguela Cove.

The Chamber has been involved in four themed projects with Strathclyde University. Third

year students have carried out research on the Chamber’s membership, communications,
business projects and trade promotion. This has been a rewarding five-month project
which will be completed this month. Their youthful insights, the changing themes of
communication, parallel views to ours and some great new ideas for us to consider, has

made the engagement valuable for us. More valuable though, was being part of 20 odd
            student’s educational evolution.

I, the Board and the Chamber’s Exco, wish all members, friends and associates of the SA

            Chamber UK a blessed Easter.
